Challenge: Mainfranken Community Connect
Mainfranken is one of Bavaria’s most active tech regions — yet many people still miss great IT events because there’s no obvious way to stay connected. How do people want to hear about events, and how do they stay in touch with the community?
Your Quest: Build a prototype that answers this question from the perspective of participants and the audience. What do people need to find the Mainfranken tech community and remain part of it? You have two days to develop a solution and pitch it to the community.
Judging Criteria:
- Usefulness & target audience fit
- User experience & accessibility
- UX, design & usability
- Technical implementation & degree of innovation
- Presentation to the community

Important: The challenge is optional — you can always build your own idea instead.
Tools & Methods
Build with modern AI tools, coding assistants, agentic assistants like Hermes or OpenClaw, no-code/low-code tools, APIs, automation, design and prototyping tools, or classic software development. Methods: vibe coding, agentic workflows, and rapid prototyping with LLMs. Coding experience is helpful but not required.

What is the AI Vibe Hackathon?
The AI Vibe Hackathon brings together people from companies, startups, tech, design, academia and community to build solutions to real problems over two days using AI. Participation is free — the hackathon takes place as part of AI Week Mainfranken, in the orbit of AI Camp / AI Barcamps, made possible by support from the regional IT/AI ecosystem.
Build hands-on — solo or in a team, with or without coding experience. No lecture programme: build together, test, learn and iterate.
